Be entertained by a diverse collection of performers providing laid back, acoustic focused music to add to the festival atmosphere. This year's event promises a return of some of last year's highlights and a few surprises among the acts to enjoy in the picturesque surrounds of Vansittart Park Gardens as some of the region's top performers put their talents on show.

Pat Hussey Guitar-No Vocal features finger style acoustic guitarist Pat Hussey. Originally from Sydney, Pat now lives locally. Pat is a fine guitarist who has performed in a wide variety of musical settings . His aim with this project is to provide something unexpected from the solo acoustic guitar that appeals to a broad audience. Echoes of the past artfully blend with contemporary influences and a variety of diverse musical styles and sounds. Four guitars on stage (including a 12 string) , all in different tunings, various capos and slide guitar create a unique sound for each tune.

Jason Wallace will debut his solo acoustic show at this year's Better Life Festival with an intimate blend of fingerpicking blues, Spanish ballads and instrumental arrangements of folk and rock classics. Originally from the Warrnambool district, Jason recorded two independent albums a decade ago with hard rock and grunge bands while playing in Melbourne and throughout western Victoria. Jason has now returned to his roots - and the roots of modern music - playing unaccompanied, often improvised, acoustic guitar. For the past year he has built up a list of songs, some borrowed, some reworked and some of his own, showcasing the beauty of solo guitar, from ragtime to rock.

Leah Briggs is a talented young country music singer from Beachport. Leah has attained an incredible level of achievement for a 17 year old, which indicates the amazing talent of this lovely young lady. Leah has gone on to enter and win many awards in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. Her biggest achievements to date are being a finalist in the South Australian Champion of Champions junior section in 2002, and in the senior section in 2003.  Leah's ambition for the future is to become a successful country music artist, and to develop her songwriting skills, ultimately producing an album.
